OTT Releases This Week (10 To 17 August): What To Stream On Netflix, Prime, JioHotstar, Zee5 And SonyLIV

Between 10 and 17 August, five streaming platforms are dropping a genuinely mixed bag - a spiritual sequel two months in the making, a football documentary, a returning action franchise, a hospital drama timed to Independence Day, and a quiz show now old enough to have outlasted three generations of competitors. Here is what is landing where.

What To Watch On Netflix

• Cocktail 2 (Hindi, 14 August) - Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna play a couple a decade into their relationship, unwilling to marry, whose Sicilian holiday is upended when Diya's old friend Ally (Kriti Sanon) enters the picture. The spiritual sequel to the 2012 original had a mixed critical run in cinemas but did solid business, and arrives on Netflix roughly two months after its theatrical release.
• Mourinho (English, 11 August) - A three-part documentary tracing José Mourinho's career from his breakthrough at FC Porto to his second stint at Real Madrid, filmed over two years with interviews from Sir Alex Ferguson, Didier Drogba and Zlatan Ibrahimović.

What To Watch On Amazon Prime Video

• Reacher Season 4 (English, 12 August) - Alan Ritchson returns as the drifter-investigator, adapted from Lee Child's novel Gone Tomorrow, pulled into a conspiracy after a chance encounter on a Philadelphia subway.
• The Traitors Season 2 (Hindi, 13 August) - Karan Johar hosts 21 celebrity contestants, including Munawar Faruqui, Rhea Chakraborty and Mallika Sherawat, at Jaisalmer's Suryagarh Palace. Unusually for an Indian streaming show, this one releases weekly, with new episodes every Thursday rather than a full-season drop.

What To Watch On JioHotstar

• 108 Base Hospital - Uri (Hindi, 15 August) - A military-medical drama starring Erica Fernandes and Gashmeer Mahajani, following army doctors working to save lives in a conflict zone. The premiere date lines up with Independence Day, and new episodes are set to air on weekends.

What To Watch On ZEE5

• Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata (Hindi, 14 August) - Kangana Ranaut, Girija Oak and Smita Tambe star in this survival thriller based on real events from the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, centred on the doctors and staff at Cama Hospital who protected over 400 patients and newborns during the siege. It streams two months after its June theatrical release.

What To Watch On SonyLIV

• Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18 (Hindi, 10 August) - Amitabh Bachchan returns to host India's longest-running quiz show, now themed around "Sochna Padega," which leans harder into applied reasoning than quick recall. The season also introduces a Google Gemini-powered lifeline. New episodes stream on SonyLIV alongside the television broadcast, Monday to Friday at 9 pm.
