Mark Zuckerberg Is Building $100m Hawaii Compound And It Looks Like Luxury Doomsday Prepping!
Brace yourselves because this may look like a jaw-dropping tale ripped straight from the pages of a sci-fi novel or movie recently released on Netflix- 'Leave The World Behind'!
Well, if you're a billionaire tech mogul like Mark Zuckerberg, then why settle for a simple mansion when you can build a fortress fit for a dystopian future? Yes, you heard it right!

According to reports, the Facebook founder is building a secret massive $100 million Hawaii compound (Zuckerbunker), which has an underground bunker and its own food and energy sources, and trying to conceal his doomsday preparations.
A Wired investigation of property records and interviews with contractors says, this complex is one of the most expensive personal construction projects in modern history and has already been partially constructed.
The billionaire spent $170 million to purchase the land to build his ranch, which he, his wife, and kids view as their family home, a spokesperson for Zuckerberg told Wired.
Known as Koolau Ranch, this massive spread on Kauai Island isn't your typical beachside retreat. We're talking about a compound with over a dozen buildings, including two central mansions connected by a tunnel leading to a 5,000-square-foot subterranean shelter, complete with an escape hatch.
Oh, did we mention the 30 bedrooms and bathrooms? Yes, thirty. And let's not forget the 11 "disk-shaped" treehouses interlinked by rope bridges-because when the apocalypse hits, you might as well enjoy a Tarzan-like escape route, right?
The subterranean bunker will also hold a living space and mechanical room and will feature an apparent "blast-resistant" concrete and steel door, mentioned in a Wired report.
As per the construction documents, this compound's buildings will have soundproofing and keypad-locked doors, a hidden library entrance or a 'blind door', and an army of surveillance cameras. And let's not overlook the 6-foot wall surrounding the property-because nothing says 'keep out' quite like a towering barricade. Workers are even sworn to secrecy with NDAs.
The plans show that one smaller ranch building has more than 20 cameras alone, says the tech publication report. The entire compound will be completely self-sufficient. Also, there will be a water tank - 55 feet in diameter and 18 feet tall, which will come with a pump system. This will be housed on the property, where existing ranching and agriculture on the 1,400 acres already provide food sources.
