Red carpet events are a major trend and for one reason only: gowns. Off late we have witnessed a ton of outfits seen at Cannes 2015 which we might say are alluring to the eyes. The Hollywood celebrities who wore these ensembles pulled off their look with a smirk; enough to say that they looked the best on the blazing bright carpet.

The red carpet on day 7 and 8 was the best so far since we got to see our Indian queen Aishwarya Rai pull off a gigantic Oscar de la Renta gown. The actress glided on the carpet like she was the only one present in the spotlight.

We also saw a ton of blonde actresses like Karlie Kloss, Emily Blunt and Soo-Joo Park in classic shades to suit their bright coloured hair. On day 8 at the Cannes 2015 red carpet our eyes also met the perfect married new couple - Nicki Reed and Ian Somerhalder. They were a sure treat and we couldn't stop ourselves from drooling over their crazy pds moments that were seen on the red carpet.

Aishwarya Rai in Ralph & Russo Couture

Bollywood and Indian celebrity Aishwarya Rai walked the red carpet at Cannes 2015 for the second time. Her Ralph & Russo gigantic gown was fabulous and she made her appearance on day 8 worth a second look.

Araya A. Hargate in Ashi Studio

Araya walked the red carpet in a princessy white gown. The fully brocade white gown had a fluffy look waist down and feathery detailing on the train and border.

Elettra Rossellini Wiedemann in Elie Saab Couture

Elettra Rossellini Wiedemann looked electrifying on the Cannes 2015 red carpet. Her Elie Saab Couture was a little different and that is why we liked the new taste.

Emily Blunt in Stella McCartney

Sparkling gowns is the latest this season. Almost every celebrity on the red carpet was seen in something glittery. Emily flaunted her figure in this tight number and rocked the Cannes red carpet.

Izabel Goulart in Zuhair Murad

The model has fallen head over heels with Zuhair's collection. On day 8 at Cannes she wore a sizzling hot number exposing her entire back. The striped pattern on the mermaid attire looked priceless.

Joan Smalls in Alaïa

Joan took our breath away the moment she walked the Cannes carpet on day 8. Wearing a complete see through mesh white dress, Joan's ensemble was hard to digest. She flaunted her toned pins in style as her white Alaïa dress had major thigh high slits.

Nieves Alvarez in Elie Saab Couture

The Spanish bombshell looked fabulous in an exquisite Elie Saab Fall 2014 Couture ombre gown that screamed glamour. She was the best dressed on the red carpet at Cannes 2015 on day 7.

Nikki Reed in Azzaro Couture

Nikki Reed walked the Cannes 2015 red carpet along with her hunky husband, Ian Somerhalder. Dressed in an amazing night blue Azzaro couture, Nikki had a lot of help with her enchantic cape from her loving hubby who made sure she stole the hearts of many on day 8.

Rachel Weisz in Prada

It was an emerald coloured satin gown for Rachel Weisz. The Prada elegant ensemble was sleek, long sleeves and a tiny cutout at the neckline.

Soo-Joo Park in Oscar de la Renta

Oscar de la Renta gowns are a hype on the Cannes 2015 red carpet. Bollywood ladies too have been featured in the designer's latest collection. Soo-Joo Park wore a breath-taking lace white off shoulder two tier ensemble with a diamond studded belt.
