WIFW 2014 Day 3: Pia Pauro On Being Scottish
It was a leggy fashion on day 3 of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2014. The designer who commenced the day 3 of the grand event showcased a line of models dressed in jet black leggings and black Winter boots outlined with golden ankle belts which is a fashion tribute to Scottish Glamrock. The leggings were worn for almost every outfit the designer, Pia Parua, portrayed on the ramp at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2014.
Pia Pauro's collection is fresh, offbeat, and epitomizes a free-spirit & global nomadic clothing with its exotic stain glass prints resembling the medieval churches and William Morris painting embroideries which were seen on the ramp at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2014. For each of her outfits seen on the ramp, accessories were on a rampage with trendy & gigantic shoulder bags, head gears and bright shoes in varied colours.
What we fell in love with at first is the unique and hand embroidered fusion of the patterns on the designer line which is inspired by pop music and rock music. There were a combination of fabric as well which included - satin, silk, pure cotton and lots of sheer. Another thing which caught our attention in Pia Pauro's collection at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2014 is the plunging necklines and a silver polka top which made fashion freeks go gaga.
Her showstopper gown too was one of a kind. Though, Pia Parua played with a lot of colours and flamboyant styles, her showstopper gown was of a single shade, being deep red. The best thing about this deep red showstopper gown is the sensational back view.
