There was a lot of competition on the night of the Filmfare Awards 2014 South. Just like Rekha who was seen in a gold and cream Kanchipuram saree, Shruti Hassan too made a style statement. Wearing Gaurav Gupta for the big night, she did seem like a princess ripped from a fairy tale book.

On the red carpet at the Filmfare Awards 2014 South, the Gaurav Gupta gown on Shruti Hassan made jaws drop. The waist of her gown was the center of attraction as it was only made of sheer and thin net like material. The bodice of the Gaurav Gupta gown was embellished with silver and a gold tinge heavy design that held out a striking appearance at the red carpet awards.

Gaurav Gupta is known for heavy designs and in turn celebrities love to wear something which is heavy and stands out. Shruti Hassan's princess gown was sleeveless, with a high collar of a leafy design. Her button down dress was also in the shape of leaves, something we haven't seen before. Her accessories from Curio Cottage with dark red lipstick to contrast her princess gown look was the best for the night!

The beauty Shruti who performed on stage at the Filmfare Awards 2014 South, wore a black dazzling suit. After her performance, she changed into Arpita Mehta saree which was consisted of neon colours.
