Shruti Hassan's Punk Look In Black Dress!
Shruti Hassan was at the Rolling Stone Jack Daniels Rock Awards 2014 where she carried quite a different and bold look. Shruti Hassan wore a black coloured Alpana Neeraj gown. The Alpana Neeraj gown that Shruti Hassan wore at the Rolling Stone Jack Daniels Rock Awards 2014 had black sequinned details all over the sleeves. The sleeves also had a line of silver sequin work which gave a rockstar's jacket look.
Even the neckline of the gown had the same embellishments. The bodice of the Alpana Neeraj gown had a golden zipper which went till the high collar neckline. We even saw some sheer cut out detailing on the sides of the bodice which gave a glimpse of her skin. The cut out details were also bordered with the matching sequin embellishments.
Shruti Hassan completed the red carpet look at Rock Awards 2014 with the 80's inspired high ponytail. The messy ponytail added the much required charm to the rockstar look of the actress and singer.

As the gown was heavily embellished and featured high collar neckline, Shruti Hassan did not accessorise it much and played it safe. Shruti wore matching black stud earrings in her four piercings. Black smokey eye makeup, glossy dark pink lips, and light evening makeup gave a finishing touch to the red carpet look of Shruti Hassan.
We think that Shruti's rockstar inspired punk look at Rolling Stone Rock Awards 2014 red carpet was not up to the mark. The jet black and dark blue coloured floor sweeping gown, dramatic sequinned bodice and sleeves an the high messy ponytail looked cool, but it is not something that we expect on the gorgeous actress.
We know that Shruti Hassan loves to wear black and carry the rockstar like style statement. However, her sophisticated as well as bold style quotient looks much better. What do you think?
