Oscars 2014: Blue n White Rule Red Carpet
Oscar 2014 did not have too many trendsetters. Most celebrities on the red carpet of Oscars 2014 were dressed elegantly. The trend we noticed most certainly was a bulk of blue and white gowns. There were surprisingly few celebrities at Oscars 2014 who chose to wear black. Even Angelina Jolie, who is always in black, ditched black this year.

However, we saw many praise worthy white gowns. Kate Hudson's Versace Atelier deserves a special mention. This gown with a deep neckline was one of the best outfits seen on the red carpet of Oscars 2014. Blue was the colour for nominees at the Academy Awards this year. Sandra Bullock, Amy Adams and Lupita Nyong'O wore blue and all three were nominated in different categories.
So, pretty ladies in blue and white ruled the roost at Oscars 2014. The melange of white and blue shades gave the red carpet a very serene look.
