LFW '14: Payal Singhal's Enchantic Collection
On day 5 of the Lakme Fashion Week 2014, we were waiting to see the collection originating from the Indian Coromandel Coast by designer Payal Singhal. We were so awestruck with her collection that it was difficult to bat an eyelid.
On the ramp, we saw her models walking with grace and pride. Each of them had a touch of gold in their accessories that complemented the designs perfectly. The other thing which caught our attention is the kind of prints she used to add glamour at the ramp of LFW 2014.
In her collection, it was a mixture of everything! From heavily printed sarees, to crop bikini tops and skirts and even see through dresses made completely out of sheer. Her showstopper Vaani Kapoor, who was the beaming light of Payal Singhal's designs, made the audience go gaga! The Bollywood diva was looking impressive and stylish in this renowned designer's outfit.
Going back to as far back as the 1600s, showstopper Vaani Kapoor wore a delicate red hot saree gown showing ample cleavage as always. Her saree gown had a sheer at her feet which almost made her trip. Luckily, she pulled herself together and wrapped up Payal Singhal's successfully.
