Novotel Bengaluru Techpark Uncorks Beaujolais Nouveau Wine

Novotel Bengaluru Techpark, a part of the first combo property of Accor in the country, celebrated the traditional French wine festival - Beaujolais Nouveau 2012 under the exclusive patronage of The Embassy of France. The event was organized in collaboration with Air France-KLM and Atout France.

The most popular vin de primeur wine from the Beaujolais region of France was uncorked by Puneet Dhawan, General Manager, Novotel Bengaluru Techpark. The glittering event re-created the French tradition. The nouveau wine was accompanied with a wide array of cheeses and charcuterie especially flown in all the way from France. A French extraordinaire menu was also prepared by Novotel Bengaluru Techpark to compliment the nouveau passions and revel in the spirit of celebrations.

Raising a toast to the celebration, Puneet Dhawan, General Manager, Novotel Bengaluru Techpark enthuses, "It has been a great pleasure to celebrate the uncorking of Beaujolais Nouveau for last two consecutive years at Novotel Bengaluru Techpark. The soiree saw the attendance of dignitaries like Eric Lavertu, Consul General of France, Fahmi Mahjoub, Commercial Director, Air France- KLM and eminent personalities like Rubi Chakravarti, Vikram and Manjusha, Esmath Khaleeli, Suresh and Aarti Sud, Chetan Kamani, Aslam Gafoor, Sneha Rao, Frances Rao along with many more who were seen enjoying an evening filled with fun, wine and gastronomy!

Beaujolais Nouveau is a young red wine made from Gamay grapes, produced in the Beaujolais region of France. While most red wines improve with age, Beaujolais Nouveau is all about freshness.
