Attention “Flu” For Men !
With the study of 3,000 people out of which one in two men admit that he exaggerates how ill he feels to get love and care from his partner.
Other than seeking attention from the partner, men will also give themselves a more serious diagnosis calling a common cold as “flu" and a headache as “a migraine".
Nevertheless, women are not ignorant of the minor ailments so they are likely to give attention in day to day life.
Perhaps! According to partners ,45 percent of women have a low pain threshold. This claim that women are to have seven types of illness a year compared with just five for men.
Despite of 34 per cent of men"s partners believing that they are sick, it is still 62 per cent relied upon their partners to nurse them.
It says that two-thirds of women regularly go to the chemist whenever their man is ill,and 46 per cent give him a shower and 27 per cent feed him the breakfast on the bed.
“Our findings support the belief that men do moan more and when they are ill they will put on all sorts of attention-seeking behaviour to make sure their partner knows about it," the Daily Express quoted Karl Elliott of Engage Mutual Assurance, who commissioned the survey, as saying.
On the other hand, when it comes to job, men are the real martyrs, with 76 per cent bravely struggle on and persevere themselves into work no matter what the cause may be.
So, both the genders found a common thing that, they didn"t like seeing each other really suffering.
Here is what Elliott said,"When it comes to doing the little things that make a partner more comfortable when they are ill, men and women seem to be more evenly matched."
