Strange as it may sound, but this is what exactly a very demanding guest, irritated with the sound of the bustling sea has asked Spain's Gran Hotel Elba Estepona & Thalasso Spa hotel staff to do. Completely taken aback by the request, the ever polite staff simply transferred the guest to a different room.

There is but more to these strangest guest requests that has often made the poor left-with-no-option hotel staff do whatever they can do fulfill the desire of their guest. The Great Hotels of the World, a group of five star hotels and resorts around the globe, recently released a list of the most extravagant and unusual guest requests they have experienced as part of their 91 Days of Summer campaign, reports The Courier Mail.

The list has some really strange requests: Asking for bed sheets with holes, to fill the tub with milk, someone wanted ice in the bath tub, and the just list rattles on, while the requests get quirkier and even funny at times.

A guest visiting the Hotel Puente Romano in Spain, thought the bed to be too high and requested the hotel staff to cut off the feet, so that it would at a very comfortable height for him. The ever friendly hotel staff but blurted out: "No Way."

While the celebrities are known to have a quirkier side, but here is the strangest of all, a well-known US Singer, (too bad the hotel won't reveal her name) demanded the hotel staff at the Portugal's Dom Pedro Palace make three holes in her bed sheets before she slept in the bed that night.

The Swiss Beau-Rivage Palace has an animal cemetery once used by the Old royal families in the hotel gardens dating back to 1861. Smitten by the beautiful cemetery, some guests often have asked the hotel, if it's possible to bury their dog in this cemetery when their time comes. Come on, you don't go to the Royal Burial Ground and say can I bury my wife here once she's dead.

Well, this request certainly tops the list, a guest staying at the Premier Palace in Ukraine asked his tub to be filled with milk, but the milk has to be from a glass bottle and poured into directly into the tub. The obedient staff after several hours of milk purchase, finally were able to fulfill his request.

If asking for a room where the sun sets at an angle of precisely 45 degrees to the right of the room window is not strange enough, then there are guests who have asked for a bucket of sea water to be delivered into the rooms every day.

But there have been those, who have even asked for the temperature of the room to be lowered to sub-zero temperatures just so he could cool off, while another guest asked for a bath tub brimming with ice.

While many of us would find the top floor of a luxury hotel, a place to get a glimpse of the city, or get some fresh air but an adventurous guest just flung himself from the roof-top with nothing but an elastic band. He is alive, but after his daredevil act the cops just roughed up a little.
