Nicole Ritchie Invited Paris Hilton For Her Wedding?

Another couple in Hollywood have tied the knot to start a life with bliss. Nicole Richie and long term boyfriend, Joel Madden are now husband and wife. They had a lavish wedding over the weekend at her father's, Lionel Richie's house in the Beverly Hills Estate.

The guests who were invited for this special day were Gwen Stefani, Samantha Ronson, Kris Jenner, Ashley Simpson and Khloe Kardashian. But, surprisingly Nicole Richie's best friend, Paris Hilton did not attend the wedding.

Sources say that Paris Hilton was invited but did not attend the Nicole-Joel Madden wedding for she was in Las Vegas shooting for her Oxygen reality series. As per Paris Hilton's Representative, “ This was planned months ago. Paris sent Nicole Richie and Joel Madden a wedding gift to congratulate them and wishes them both the best."
Other sources say that she was not invited at all since Nicole Richie did not want Paris Hilton to be the center of attraction on her big day. It is said that," Nicole Richie is in a very different place in her life from when she was hanging out with Paris. She"s the mother of two and now a wife while Paris seems to be in exactly the same spot she was in five years ago. Still partying in Vegas and getting into trouble with the law."

Another question to be answered is, Did Paris Hilton not attend the wedding because she did not want to bump into her ex love, Benji Madden?
