Pop star Lady Gaga has joined hands with old-school Grandmaster Melle Mel for a multimedia fable 'The Park', for kids aged 6 and above.

The Portal in the Park is about a boy of 11 who confronts good and evil in Central Park.

The book, penned by Cricket Casey, comes with a CD along with seven inspirational songs.

She roped in the 'Poker Face' hitmaker, Stefani Germanotta, for the project after seeing her at the Bitter End.

The 23-year-old singer cancelled her show at the Borgata in Atlantic City on Saturday due dehydration and this has put publishers to thought. They are worried about the possibility of Lady Gaga of not be able to publish the book.
