Kirsten Dunst starred as Spider Man's love interest Mary Jane Watson in three films, opposite Tobey Maguire. Both actors Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst with director Sam Raimi quit earlier this year. While the Movie bosses "Sony Pictures" subsequently announced plans to bring the franchise back with a new young cast, hiring Andrew Garfield to play the title role and Emma Stone to take over Dunst''s character in the superhero series. Kirsten Dunst admits that casting chiefs made the right choice and she's convinced the sequel will be a phenomenal success.
"I like Andrew Garfield so much as an actor - and Emma Stone - so I think they'll be great in the new version," she said.
