Julia Roberts, the stunning American actress, absolutely enjoy experimenting with new and unusual food items. Often she treats her friends with these experiments of hers, without realizing how horrified her friends feel with such treats.

Recently Roberts, treated her friends in a house party with chocolate – covered crickets. The actress has become obsessed with sweet treats, after trying them on her friends' group.

A source said, "Julia is earthy and is always trying out new things, like ostrich burgers and homemade marmalade, on her unsuspecting friends." "Not everyone shares Julia"s taste, though. When she brought out the chocolate-covered crickets, you could hear the gasps. But she loves them!" the source added.

The actress did not notice her friends' disgust feeling, rather she went on munching those chocolate – covered crickets happily. "She was popping them in her mouth one after the other," the onlooker laughed. "A few guests cringed as Julia happily munched away."
