Whoopi Goldberg Casts Bladder Control Campaign

Whoopi Goldberg, the versatile comedienne, is casting a new bladder control program for women.

Goldberg, who believes that 'leaks don't discriminate', provides her aid for Poise's 1in3 Like Me drive. This program aims to increase the awareness of women about the bladder problems.

Goldberg has also filmed a series of humorous short films for the program. In those films, she plays the characters of the famous historical figures including Cleopatra and Joan of Arc, all talking about the bladder problems. It will be aired through the media.

Goldberg reveals that she is suffering with the condition herself.

"Nobody ever wants to talk about LBL (light bladder leakage). For some reason, we have decided there's something taboo about it - but so many women experience it and we should be able to talk about it openly! Leaks don't discriminate, we all go through it - I tell women this all the time," says Goldberg.
