Elizabeth Edwards Opens Up About Her Hubby's Infidelity

Elizabeth Edwards has come out for the first time about her hubby's infidelity and their split up.

Edwards is not only undergoing a stormy phase with regards to her marital relationship but facing some serious health issues as well.

According to the New York Daily News that quoted her as opening up in her first tv interview since her break up with her husband, "I think about ... what an incredible year she''s had, and yet, the stories you hear are not about all those great successes, but about the failure of her marriage,"

"I thought that's not who she is. I don't know her, but I assume she wants to reclaim who she is in the same way I want to reclaim who I am," she added.

Edwards walked out of her marriage from her husband, former Sen. John Edwards in January, on account of his infidelity of fathering a child with mistress Rielle Hunter.

Elizabeth is not only combating serious health issues like breast cancer, a tumours in her legs, spine and skull.

However the she looks at her infirmities with a positive outlook.

She says, "It''s less frightening than you think; it can''t migrate to your brain," she added.
