Aretha Franklin Back From A Surgery
Famous American singer Aretha Franklin was released from the Detroit hospital earlier this week so she could recover from surgery at home. Aretha Franklin, according to reports underwent a successful surgery for Pancreatic Cancer and said that she is hoping to be strong to watch the upcoming Sam Cooke play and the Dream girls performance.
68-yr-old Aretha Franklin was hospitalized early this month, and her publicist confirmed that she arrived home before Wednesday, December 15. According to the doctors, the surgery was “highly successful," and Aretha Franklin"s publicist, Tracey Jordan said that the singer is “happy to be home," and is ready to spend the holidays with family.
Franklin, in a statement released by Jordan, said that her family and friends who brought her home from hospital are taking a great care of her and she added that she also has a private nurse who visits on a daily basis. Aretha Franklin, earlier, had canceled her concerts from November through May on for surgery and as per the orders by her doctor.
