The list of most powerful women in the British theatre has been released recently. The Harper's Bazaar and Tiffany Women In Theatre Power list 2009 is ranked in no particular order and includes playwrights, theatre impresarios and stars of the stage.

There is no doubt that the 20 women in the list represent the diversity and brilliance found in this creative industry. The list also takes account of the incredible powerhouses who make the productions happen.
