A Tribute To Patrick Swayze!

"Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months," his publicist, Annett Wolf, said in a statement on Monday evening. Swayze died in Los Angeles, Wolf said, but she declined to give further details.
The sudden illness that was diagnosed in 2008 has all the fans of the actor sadden, while the actor despite his illness kept working on his memoir with his wife and also engaged in shooting a drama "The Beast".
When the disease was first diagnosed the actor was told that he would only live for a short time, however, he battled on with the disease for 20-month, but still also gave time to writing and shooting.
His brainchild, the drama – The Beast, went onto fetch a viewership of over 1.3 million in its 13 episodes and had a successful run in its first and only season. It is said that while working for The Beast, the Swayze never took painkiller drugs and he was against it.
As Patrick Swayze death become public, the whole Hollywood started pouring in their condolences.
C. Thomas Howell, who had worked with Swayze in The Outsiders and Red Dawn said, "I have always had a special place in my heart for Patrick, while I was fortunate enough to work with him in three films. Today not only did we lose a fine actor, I lost my older Outsiders' brother."
Other celebrities used Twitter to express condolences, and "Dirty Dancing" was the top trending topic for a while Monday night, trailed by several other Swayze films. While the actor is dead, one Dirty Dancing quote: "Time goes by, life goes on, and all I can think of is why you're gone," (John Castle), tells us how much Patrick Swayze will be missed.
