The Oscar Finds Its Way To The Attic

British actress Dame Helen Mirren has stored all her awards, including her Oscar, in the attic.

Speaking at the Women in Film and TV Awards, where she was presented with a Lifetime Achievement award, she said "I used to have them out but now I have put them away in the attic. "Those awards are quite serious but I have had so many funny ones over the years."

She said that she won the Best Actress at the Rio Film Festival which doesn't exist any more so it has become a collector's item.

She said that all the awards are kept to be discovered by the collectors, after she is gone.
