British Prime Minister Gordon Brown must have got a shock of his life when a survey of 1,000 adults claimed him as the most boring public speaker in the UK.

Gordon Brown is closely followed by football ace David Beckham, Kate Winslet, Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles and the Prince of Wales.

On the first place of the most popular speaker stands Actor Stephen Fry pushing Barack Obama to the second place.

One in six of those polled said public speaking was their "worst nightmare".
