Good and naughty Hollywood celebs of 2008
Its New year round the corner and time to revive th year gone by. The year 2008 had been an eventful one with various Hollywood celebrities on the news for all the wrong reasons and some for finally coming in terms with their lives.

Entertainment journalist Michael Hundgen reveals who has made it to Santa's good and bad list as reported by CBS News. The same will be appearing on the "The Early Show" on Dec 24.

The much awaited list is as follows:

Santa's Good List


Britney Spears

Britney Spears managed to top the charts with her hit single "Womanizer."The pop princess was back on the Billbord Hot 100 at No.1. She turned 27 this year and zoomed out of the mental hospital and straight to AOL's list of most searched celebrities in 2008. The singer has reasons to smile as she spends more time with her sons and won various awards at the MTV"s VMAs for her single "Piece of Me."

Tom Cruise

The news maker was on the highlight for jumping on Oprah's couch, preaching Scientology, professing his love and denying existence of Post-Partum Depression, Tom Cruise has been entertaining all the while. He plays a cameo in 'Tropical Thunder' and stars as a Nazi protagonist in his latest film, "Valkyrie." With his wife and beautiful daughter Suri, Cruise has settled in New york. While his son Connor rubs shoulders with Will Smith in the movie 'Seven pounds'.

Paris and Nichole

The former BFF"s were back in action in 2008. Nicole Richie had a baby, Harlow Winter Kate, with her husband, Joel Madden, whose brother, Benji, Paris dated. When Paris and Benji broke up, Nicole was there to console her. Paris had her own show on MTV, "My New BFF," and even made political headlines when she taped a commercial spoofing John McCain"s "celebrity attacks on Barack Obama."

Leonardo DiCaprio

Along with Ed Norton, Leo is the member of Global Green's board of directors. The duo have been involved in lobbying Gov. Schwarzenegger and the California legislature on behalf of green-friendly, to low-income housing, to participating in fund-raising events, to arriving at the Academy Awards in energy-efficient vehicle. Now the star is all set to recreate the magic with 'Titanic' costar Kate Winslet for the new flick "Revolutionary Road".

Jonas Brothers

The good boys, who are role models and enjoy good clean fun. The duo topped the AOL's list of top musician searches. They wear purity rings and are soon to appear in 3-D concert movie and a Disney Channel TV series.

Santa's Naughty List

Madonna The Pop queen made headlines for her much publicized divorce with Guy Ritchie.

Miley Cyrus

Perez Hilton named her the Villain of the year and said: "She just seemed to do nothing right. She started off poorly with pictures, leaked from her cell phone, of her in the shower. This was followed by Vanity Fair shoot, the trashing of her fellow costars, dating a 20-year-old when she's only 15."

Christian Bale

The 'Dark Knight' star was arrested in London for assaulting his mother and sister, though the charges were dropped, his star value suffered.

Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. Her husband Blake Fielder-Civil confessed on hooking her on crack cocaine and self-injury. He claims to have left her in order to save her. He has also threatened her to dish out 1 million pounds in hush money.

Shia Labeouf

After his car crash on July 27, he has suffered a serious hand injury that turned more serious than expected according to E! Online. Now, a source from Hollywood claims that the actor is going ahead with the surgery that has been postponed since September. AGENCIES
