The Beijing Olympics 2008 has been a milestone for some, steppingstone for others and a total life renovation for some. The Olympic star of the moment is Michael Phelps currently, who is making the best of his busy lifestyle that fame has bought along.

Michael Phelps might be busy enjoying his post-Beijing star status, but he still takes out some time to tan. For this purpose, the ace swimmer apparently utilises the time when he is not with his 40-person entourage or partying up as a VIP with the likes of Christina Aguilera, Kid Rock and Rihanna.

Sources have told Pop Tarts that that Phelps ordered a private pro from Sunset Tan last week, to give him the glamorous glow-down in his Las Vegas hotel room, reports Fox News. Recently, people in New York were filled with excitement when they saw Phelps. Onlookers at the Blue Ribbon Sushi in Midtown revealed that Phelps' presence caused near-hysteria there.

"It was funny to see jaded New Yorkers, who always see celebs around town, act like excited schoolkids," the New York Post quoted one witness as saying. "People kept sending over bottles of champagne and sake! Never seen anything like it," the witness added.

Well we all are well aware about fame and all the glory it brings, surely Michael Phelps is lucky to be handling it well.
