Mainland China Celebrates The 'Clay Pot Festival'

Speaking here to UNI Chef Rajesh Dubey explained, it is a splendid festival to celebrate Chinese culinary innovation.
"Such innovation reaches its zenith in clay pot cooking as moist clay infuses a rare fragrance into food and traps its juices, making the dish aromatic and tender with very little oil and maximum nutrition," he said.
Elaborating on eateries, he opined nothing can be more exciting than a sumptuous lunch or dinner in a clay pot in which master chefs of China show wizardry with fresh catch of lobsters and fish, bountiful vegetables and fresh spices.
Starting from Changde clay bowl vegetable, an exotic dish of seasonal vegetables cooked in spicy cinnamon flavoured sauce to clay pot aromatic honey and ginger chicken or clay pot shrimps with bean thread noodles, one can taste the freshest of lobsters and other dishes prepared in rich and distinct ways, he added.
The clay pot festival at Mainland China has an amazing history as old as five thousand years and is virtually an ocean of delicacy, he maintained.
