Katie Green, Wonderbra's new face

She never knew how glamour tasted, but now, Katie Green is ready to set the fashion industry on fireby becoming the new face of Wonderbra.

The brunette was selected after an underwear firm launched a nationwide hunt to fill in the shoes of former Wonderbra models Eva Herzigova and Sophie Anderton.

After hearing that she has been selected as the girl for the Wonderbra, the 20-year-old said that she was "completely bowled over" the fact. "I cannot believe this is happening to me. I'm just a normal girl," The Daily Express quoted her, as saying.

Bosses want 5ft 9in Katie the daughter of a gravedigger and a shop assistant to appear on thousands of billboard posters around Britain.

But her big break almost did not happen because she had other ideas for her career path. She said: "I've always dreamt of joining the police and all this week I've been meaning to fill in an application form to join the Hampshire force.

"I might have to put that on hold for a bit now." She added: "I am a curvy size 12 so I was shocked they wanted me instead of someone who is a size eight."
