Beyonce Knowles finally breaks her silence on the top secret wedding she had with longtime boyfriend Jay-Z back on April 4, 2008.

The 'Crazy In Love' hitmaker, who had stated, “What Jay and I have is real" earlier, opened up about her covert wedding after much groaning.

"You're gonna get me in trouble," People Magazine quoted Beyonce, as telling Essence magazine.

The popstar revealed that putting unnecessary emphasis on the engagement ring is not her way of doing things. "People put too much emphasis on that. It's just material and it's just silly to me," Beyonce said.

According to the magazine she has been seen wearing a band on her finger over a tattoo Roman numeral IV (Beyonce was born on Sept. 4; Jay-Z on Dec. 4; they were married on April 4). Jay-Z, 38, has a matching tattoo on his ring finger. Beyonce also revealed that she made no fuss about having a lavish celebrity wedding instead had a drama free wedding."It's been my day so many days already," she said

Beyonce, who just debuted two singles off her new album due Nov. 18, was certain she and Jay-Z would end up as husband and wife, as she adds,"We always knew it would happen."
