oprah winfrey,simon cowell,sir trevor mcdonald is set to be honoured in an episode of UK TV show 'This Is Your Life'.

Simon was surprised by veteran news reader Sir Trevor McDonald, who was carrying the programme's famous red book chronicling his life, during the 'American Idol' final this week.

Simon, famed for his scathing criticisms of pop hopefuls, was for once left speechless. Sir Trevor, who received a big hug from Simon, will present the show. The one-off episode is scheduled to be shown on UK TV on June 2 - when viewers will see Simon reunited with various faces from his past.

It is not yet known if pop manager Louis Walsh and TV presenter Kate Thorton will appear after being axed from Simon's UK talent show 'The X Factor'.

Fellow 'The X Factor' judge Sharon Osbourne, Jennifer Lopez and Oprah Winfrey are all set to be involved. Last year's 'The X Factor' winner Leona Lewis, 22, and Divo, the classical singing troupe discovered by Simon, are both set to perform live on the show.
