Britney Spears is said to have fallen out with her mother, Lynne after a string of rows over Britney's partying and for having missed out in calling her mom on the mother's day, Sunday (13.05.07) in the US, while the 52-year-old was suffering from pneumonia.
According to sources, the reasons behind the emerging of unpleasantness in the relationship is said to be Lynne's forcing Britney to go to the rehab for alleged alcohol addiction and post-natal depression, earlier this year.
According to "The National Enquirer magazine," Britney has severed the cord with her mother. "She feels betrayed by her." The 25-year-old singer is said to have disappointed her parents with her wild partying and head-shaving antics. "The family felt very disappointed in the way she was acting.
According to her aunt, Chandra McGovern, in the US TV show 'Inside Edition', Britney had shaved her hair in an attempt to live up to her pop princess status. It was also an act of rebellion against everybody. It is said that she was saying ''I am not the pop princess you think I am, now leave me alone!"
Lynne has now left hospital after recovering from her illness. Chandra McGovern believes that the family feud is not to last long as Britney and her mother are very close for her to hold a permanent grudge against her mother.
