Kolkata, Jan 18 (UNI) External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate ten-day-long here tomorrow.
According to Government of India release here today, the Utsav, depicting India's history and patrotic heritage, has been planned to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the 1757-war of Palassy and the 150th anniversary of the First Freedom Movement of 1857.
The fair would continue till January 28.
Dr Pratap Chandra Chunder and other dignitaries are scheduled to attend the inaugural function.
The Ministry of Defence is putting up an exhibition pavilion on antique armours of the nation while the Government of the National Capital Region, Delhi's show at the fair would depict details of the historic "Sepoy Mutiny".
The Victoria Memorial, among other participants, would also put forward rare artifacts and reference material on the concerned historic anniversaries.
