Amit Sadh supports Shilpa Shetty
Lucknow, Jan 24 (UNI) Supporting Shilpa Shetty, who allegedly had to face racist remarks by her fellow mates on the British reality show 'Big Brother', TV actor Amit Sadh said she should stay on the show. ''Shilpa is a strong individual...she represents India and we want her to face all the odds to come out as a winner from the reality show, Amit, who was evicted from 'Bigg Boss', an Indian reality show, last week said here today. He noted that the longer Shilpa stayed on the show, the deeper mark she would leave for herself and her country.
Some contestants of the Big Brother show, especially British TV star Jade Goody, had allegedly made racist remarks and tried to bully Shilpa. The whole issue, later sparked international uproar.
Goody, a former dental nurse, was evicted from the reality TV show by the public vote last Friday after her alleged remarks made headlines around the world.
Amit was here to share his experiences with the media after his eviction from the Bigg Boss, which is being aired on television.
The actor was the youngest participant in the Bigg Boss house and had earned the pet name 'Chotu'.
''I evolved as a better human being after the show, and not an actor, since it was a reality show without any script and acting,'' he said.
''I spent 11 weeks on the show...sometimes, it gets frustrating to be surrounded by cameras 24X7 and loneliness overwhelms you..'', he said.
When asked which contestant on the Bigg Boss he wished would win, the actor said ''Ravi Kishan''.
Amit also recalled his Lucknow connection informing he had his schooling in the 'city of nawabs' at the reputed La Marteniere Boys' College.
