Alappat Opens Unique Showroom
Kerala-based Alappat Golden Private Limited will open a showroom for diamond, alappat,baby,bridal wear,diamonds,jewellery,platinum,women and gold jewellery here on December 14.
Company Chairman and Managing Director Babu Antony Alappat, talking to reporters here last night said the 6,000 sq ft showroom was set up after extensive market research on purchasing habits of the present day customers.
The Rs 30-crore showroom would have a bridal collection counter, Sumangali, 'ETC' section for teenagers, '9 to 5' for working women and 'Cuties Pie' section for newborn and infants.
Mr Antony said the company was introducing a novel scheme, 'Swarna Sampadhya Nidhi,' whereby people could purchase jewellery of their choice under easy instalments.
The company was planning to open similar showrooms at Bangalore in Karnataka, Chennai and Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu and other parts of Kerala, he added.
