Rajni becomes grandfather

Chennai, Oct 11 (UNI) Tamil film superstar Rajnikanth has become a grandfather.

His daughter Aishwarya, married to actor Dhanush, delivered a baby boy at a private hospital in the city last evening.

The 57-year-old superstar along with his wife and Dhanush's parents visited the hospital to see the newborn baby.

After the rip-roaring success of the film 'Chandramukhi', which d brought back Rajni as the top hero of Kollywood, the actor was busy shooting for 'Sivaji' under the AVM banner, directed by Shankar.

The film was expected to hit the screens on April 14 next year, Tamil New Year's day
