Bangalore, Oct 6 (UNI) Celebrating the unqualified success of Fiesta during its first year of launch, Ford India today released a special edition of the mid sized premium vehicle ''Fiesta Durasport'' in the city.
Unveiling the limited special edition Sedan, Ford India Vice President for marketing and sales Scott McCormack said Fiesta was the largest selling model that took the market by storm since its launch in November last year. Till today 25,000 vehicles had been sold and the vehicle was the largest selling car from the Ford stable with Ikon taking the second spot, he added.
The limited edition which had a few additional features would be in the market only for a few months as Ford India plan to manufacture only 500 of them.
He said Fiesta was a top notch seller in its range in 17 of the 35 major markets across India. It was predominant leader in its class in entire South and Punjab, he added.
