Awards function held at the Hilton Towers

At an awards function held at the Hilton Towers last Sunday, two ex-flames-turned-good friends, Kapoor and Dipannita Sharma, appeared to have a brief disagreement (which was sorted out by the couple's friends, Nethra Raghuraman and husband Ash Chandler).

'Forget the past'

Says an eyewitness present at the scene, "Dipannita was asked to present the Most Talked About Newcomer award to , which she did. After they got down from the stage, she went over to and started saying something like, 'Forget the past, it wasn't my fault,' but didn't seem convinced.

So Dipannita told Nethra, who was a bystander, to say something and sort it out. The conversation hardly lasted two to three minutes, after which, all three were laughing and joking."

feigns amnesia when asked about this. "I don't remember what the context of the conversation was, but it was a normal one. I was happy to receive the award from Dipannita. Yes, we were going out at one time, but that was two years ago and it's over between us now. We have remained very close friends since then, and talk to each other frequently."

Will he ever get back with someone he has broken up with? "I don't know. Right now, I don't have a personal life, nor am I in a relationship. It all depends on the situation."

Dipannita was unavailable for comment, so we asked Nethra what happened. "We were all in a group. Dipannita came in with a girlfriend, while I came with Shruti (Seth). There was no awkward scene. Nethra denies any rift with .

"Dipannita and never stopped talking to each other even after they broke up, nor was there any bad blood between them. We were all having fun and cracking jokes. In fact, was sitting in front and asking us to join him."

Does this spurt of friendliness between them mean that and Dipannita will get back together? "No," says Nethra firmly. "They are just very dear friends and are both doing very well for themselves. There is no animosity, but there is no chance of them getting back together either."
