New Delhi, Oct 9 (UNI) Mumbai-based diamonds maker Classic diamonds India Ltd (CDIL) today said that it has started ventures with the retail jewellers in the Gulf countries with its necklace product line priced below 20,000 dollars.

Its Dubai distribution channel has opened up with two wholesalers situated at Jeddah and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), expecting to have good volume business with them, a company statement said today.

CDIL has also set up separate team of designers who create and innovate new designs for this rich market.

The company had, last month, set up its manufacturing facility at the diamonds hub, Surat, with a capacity to produce over 2.5 million stones a month.
