Bangalore HR summit to begin on Dec 15
Bangalore, Dec 11 (UNI) Over 250 Human resources professionals from Asia Pacific, Middle East besides India will be participating in the two-day 'Bangalore HR Summit 2006' beginning here on December 15.
The Summit organised by Institute of Human Resource Development aimed at harnessing human capital for performance excellence, Institute spokesman Aaron Watson told newsmen here today.
He said that as the global markets are becoming highly competitive Indian companies need to focus on to achieve global levels of excellence. This can happen only when the human capital was fully harnessed.
Mr Watson said that the International Summit would involve sharing of knowledge, information and best practices. Eminent speakers, including Vice Presidents, Heads of HR functions of leading organisations like Arvind Brands, ONGC, Mind Tree Consulting, Infosys, would cover topics -- Creating a High Performance Culture in organisations, competency based , Models, in e-age, Balanced score card approach and Understanding Human Capital.
He said that HSBC, GSC (India) Centre Head Mona Donahoe would be the Chief Guest at the inaugural session.
