Ash's dad hospitalized

Aishwarya Rai's dad, Krishnaraj Rai was recently hospitalized for gangrene in intestines. He was admitted to the Hinduja hospital in Mumbai. Ash being the devoted daughter that she is, put all assignments on hold and rushed to be with him. She was in the middle of her shoot for Dhoom 2. However, she came back as soon as she heard of her dad's illness.

Krishnaraj Rai had a stomach ache and had been throwing up. He was taken to a hospital where ultrasound and CT scan tests were done. A minor operation was done. He is much better now and recuperating under a team of expert doctors.
