Balanced Diet For A Healthy Pomeranian

What Pomeranian Food To Fed Your Dog?
There are many types of dog food, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. There are basically three kinds of dog food you can choose from, namely;
1. Homemade Food: If you cook for your dog at home it gives you total control over the proportions of of nutrients in its food. Moreover you will eliminate the possibility of having any chemical additives or fillers in the food. Fillers are added by some commercial brands to increase the volume of the food but it have no food value. It also gives a naturally positive feeling as you will be cooking for your dog just the way you cook for your family. Pomeranians like food prepared at home because they are basically family dogs who like to feel like a part of the family.
2. Packaged Wet Food: Tinned or canned meats and vegetables come in this category. Your dog may enjoy this kind of food and it also has the exact amount of nutrients needed for your Pomeranian dog. But mostly these nutrients are synthetic and it is better to feed your dog fresh meat.
3. Dry Packaged Dog Food: These come from many brands like Pedigree. The best part about them is that they are dry,easy to store and your naughty dog cannot make a mess of them. Secondly, they have the perfect proportions of nutrients required in dog food. The trouble is if you try to buy custom made food for Pomeranians then it will be mighty expensive. It is much easier to buy general dog foods for a healthy canine nutrition but this will not be made with your dogs special dog needs in mind. So it will be like shooting a blank. You can choose the slightly more expensive but manageable option of food for smaller dog breeds.
4. Special Pomeranian Food: Pomeranians have a fetish for starchy food. They go crazy by sniffy the smell of freshly prepared rice. Feed them different kinds of rice like brown rice, whole rice, porridge etc. From personal experience, Poms love pasta and other wheat based noodles so give them a treat once in a while especially when they are puppies.
So we can easily say that food prepared at home is the best food for dogs just like it is for humans.
