Dog Potty Training : Quick Pet Training Tips

Dog Potty
Dogs are smart animals and trainers need to have a good knowledge about how to train them. It isn't very difficult to train dogs but when to train?, how to train?, is what one needs to know. Since June is the potty training month, lets give you some simple pet training tips that will ease you with your dog's potty training.

Dogs are just like children and thus potty training has to be introduced at the earliest. Practising a pet loo for your dog will cut down all the mess made by the untrained dog that requires all time cleaning.

Dog Potty Training : Quick Pet Training Tips

1. The very first step of the training includes crate training. Your dog needs to get practiced with the metallic or soft enclosures that can help you carry him where every you go. Dogs are attention seekers and if left alone, they tend to get nasty by littering the place and destroying things around them.

2. One more important aspect that needs to be followed is keeping a check on your Dog's diet. Some foods aren't very good for dogs and feeding them may lead to untimely poops. Giving a proper pet food will help in planning time for your dog potty training. To know what food is ideal for your pet ask your pet veterinarian.

3. Planning your dog's meal timings is another important aspect. Avoiding your dog from eating and drinking at night or during nap time will cut down adverse pooping habits. Do not encourage your dog on over eating and schedule its meal timings. Providing meal at the same time for your pet will help you analyse your pet's potty time.

4. As owner, patience is what pays. Dog potty training is not a two or three day procedure but takes a long time depending on the dog breeds. The owner needs to care the pet and not lose his temperament.

5. If one doesn't have a garden at home, then pets need to be trained to poop in the house loo so that cleaning up will be reduced just pulling a flush.

6. Digging a pit in the farthest corner of your garden (away from home) and training your dog to poop in the place will also help in making organic manure for plants.
