Clean Your Pet's Hair The Easy Way

Pet Hair Cleaning
Owning a pet is a wonderful feeling and they are indeed wonderful companions that many of us welcome in to our homes. They sure do provide us with hours of entertainment and unconditional admiration, but if look around, you may find that they have left little reminders of their existence everywhere which indeed is cute rather.

Their fur and hair clings to every inch of furniture, carpeting and other fabrics in your home, including your clothing .

These simple steps will surely indeed help you get rid of your furry friend"s hairy trail and give your fabrics a fresh, clean look:-

  1. Wet your hands with a little water and rub it over on the couch or the furniture, the hair will automatically ball up together and you can easily remove it thereafter.
  2. Latex gloves have a texture that is good for removing pet hair. Adding a small amount of water too will help.
  3. A moistened sponge will also be of great help for hair removal. Squeeze it out well before you and gently dab the sponge in circular motion where ever the fur is, this will help collect the hair on to the sponge.
  4. Vacuums are good for removing hair of your pet. It is faster and easier as well, especially if you are allergic to pet fur.
  5. A lint roller is also good for picking up the fur on the couch or on other furniture. Simply wrap the tape around your hand so the sticky side if facing outward and then roll the tape across the fabric to pick up the stray hair.
  6. Velcro straps are in good use now . The rough texture will quickly gather the fur and though it is a tough job in cleaning out the Velcro later , it is good in picking up the pet fur.
  7. For clothing with lots of pet hair on it, toss it in the dryer for a quick spin. This will help the hair to come off your clothes immediately and the unwanted hair will be trapped in the lint filter.

To make work more fun and to keep your home fur free you can try this out, blow a balloon and the static that is created will attract pet fur off from your fabrics. Rub a balloon to produce the static and then rub it over the area you would like to clean. The hair will “jump" off of the fabric and stick to the balloon.
