Monsoons: 6 Easy Tips To Manage Your Trash In Rainy Season
The rainy season is poetic, romantic, and best enjoyed sitting on your balcony with a hot cup of tea! While the outdoors gets cleaned up with pure raindrops, the insides of our homes require special attention, especially in terms of managing the garbage. Effective waste management is simply not limited towards a specific season.
You should cope with the daily waste or trash with some easy and hassle-free techniques. But particularly in monsoons, you need to manage the garbage to avoid flies and other bugs hovering around it and spreading viruses! We have listed a few tips to manage waste in your hassle-free way:

Place Litter in a Bin
Food waste, plastic waste, covers, leftovers, and more; whatever it is that gets accumulated as garbage should directly make its way into the trash bin. Make it a habit of disposing of the trash as soon as you consume things that are layered with rappers or just about anything that can be labelled as trash! This way the surfaces around the tables, countertops, and floorings will be clean always!
Clean the Trash Can
If you think, cleaning the trash can is a once-in-a-blue moon or occasional activity, then wipe off this mistake from your home management methods. Because, even if you get rid of the trash daily, the garbage stains get stuck to the bin and it becomes a breeding zone for flies, bugs, and pests. After you dispose of the garbage, ensure to clean it immediately or at least every alternate day. Clean the trash box under tap water or wipe it clean with cleaning wipes. Spray the disinfectant over the can to keep the trash bin safe to touch or handle!
Clear of Garbage Everyday
Do not accumulate garbage, otherwise, you will end up giving unwanted invitations to flies, mosquitoes, insects, and even rodents. Avoid piling up the trash in the garbage bin no matter how minuscule the waste is. If possible, segregate the trash in wet waste and dry waste bins. Make sure to cover the trash can with a trash bag (yes, those black ones) and add all the waste inside the same. It becomes convenient for you to tie the garage bag and accumulate it at a designated garbage section or garbage tunnel outside your home.

Avoid Dumping Waste Outside
We are responsible for keeping your surroundings clean and germ-free. The easiest way to contribute towards a better society is to manage your trash effectively. Never dump the waste outside your home, on streets, or in any open spaces at any cost.
Separate Waste at Designated Source
If your apartment or colony community has provided specific garbage separation sources, then make sure to utilize the same. Compost the biodegradable waste and contribute towards manufacturing of recyclable products like plastic bottles, boxes, metals, and more.
