Wash Different Clothes On Different Settings
Never wash all kinds of clothes together in the washing machine. You have to wash lingerie, socks, towels in 'Delicate' option. You need to wash the regular clothes together and wash jeans and woolens separately.

Dry Clean Strictly
Some clothes are strictly for dry cleaning and these delicate garments get ruined if you try to wash them by hand at home.

Hand Washing Never Hurts
Some good quality cotton clothes should not be washed in the washing machine. You should ideally cold wash these clothes by hand to maintain them in good condition.

Wash Whites Separately
You must wash your white clothes separately from the dark and coloured ones. The white clothes get stains very quickly, so be careful.

Wash Clothes Only When You Need To
Clothes have more wear and tear when you wash again and again. Sometimes, hanging your clothes and giving them some air is all you have to do. No washing is required. Do not over wash your expensive clothes.

Avoid Using The Dryer Frequently
The dryer option of your washing machine may be convenient but it is not always the best for you. So avoid using the dryer as it crumples and strains your clothes. Sun drying does not fade your clothes as quickly.

Dry The Clothes As Soon As They Are Washed
Put the clothes to dry as soon as you finish washing them. In this way, they do not get too wrinkled and do not have to be ironed very stiffly.

Don't Soak For Too Long
If you soak clothes for too long, they fade and sometimes release colour. Clothes can also get a mouldy stench if they are soaked for too long.
