It is Summer, season of Mangoes, season of Houseflies too. Houseflies breed faster in the hot season and feed on disease causing fecal matter, discharge of human and animal wounds and sores. Only sanitation can help in getting rid of houseflies. So take a look at some of these tips to eradicate houseflies.

Tips To Eradicate Houseflies -

1. Growing herbs like basil in your garden will prevent breeding of houseflies.

2. Clove oil is said to be best to eradicate houseflies so add a drop of oil on the window and door surface.

3. Grow carnivorous plants like Venus flytrap, Pitcher plant and Sundew in your indoor or outdoor so that they eat up these summer flies.

4. Cover all the food stuffs like fruits, vegetables and discard the waste immediately. Use closed bins for garbage.

5. Turmeric water will also help eradicate houseflies, so often clean ceramic tiles (bathroom tiles) with turmeric water and then rinse it with plain water.

6. Mop the floor everyday with a good floor cleaning agent.

7. Burn a Benzoin resin at home every evening as the strong odor of the resin will eliminate flies.
