Post Christmas and parties, your Kitchen will be a total mess and requires a quick cleaning. Kitchen appliances like Microwave oven would have been used too much for cakes and bakes. The oil stains, sticky chocolate stains need to be cleared instantly or else the equipment gets spoilt.

Cleaning Oven – Christmas Cleaning Tips And Tricks
1. There is no cleaning better than self cleaning, keep the oven cool before you begin. The racks, tins and grill used for baking need to soaked in caustic soda solution. All the sticky stains will vanish in no time. Rinse them in cold water and dry using towels.
2. In a spray bottle, fill baking soda, water and lemon. Spray the solution and use an old (discardable) towel or sponge to wipe the interiors of the oven. Lemon kills bacteria and germs and is non toxic to health. It also makes the oven smell good.
3. A old brush dipped in soap solution can clean up the food remains, rust stains etc. Use kitchen towels to dry the interiors. Leave the oven door open to prevent the damp smell.
4. The utensils used can be filled with boiled tamarind water. The mild acid in tamarind will clean the vessels and kill all the disease causing germs and bacteria.
5. The oven door, control and holder would have got oily and dirty. Wiping them with the cloth soaked in vinegar will easily remove the oilyness and make it crystal clear.
6. Sundry the racks and grills for a while so that all the germs (if any) get killed and dry up fast. Boil mint leaves in the oven for about 5-10 minutes and leave it for a few hours. Fresh mint leaves work like natural air freshners and keep your oven smell good and clean.
Wipe the glass and metallic oven insulation (exteriors) with soap water and maintain it by using oven cover.
