Cleaning Coffee Maker - Simple Cleaning Tips

Cleaning Coffee Maker Tips:
1. The first step would be to empty the contents like coffee remains from the filter.
2. With the help of soapy water and a waste tooth brush, brush the residue off the filter until clean.
3. Do not dispose the used coffee powder but mix it well with soil for good growth of plants.
4. To the maker add white vinegar or concentrated lemon in 1: 4 ratio and fill the maker with water until full. Run the maker and allow it to cool. This will help in removing the decoction stains and also gives fresh smell.
5. Empty the maker and rinse the maker well with water. If the maker smells vinegar, run plain water in the maker once again.
6. With the soft brush, wash the carafe and filter basket.
7. Using paper towels wipe off the excess water and allow it to dry completely.
These tips will help in cleaning the coffee maker without the usage of strong chemicals. Always try to clean your kitchen appliances with natural cleaning agents like vinegar and lemon as they aren't poisonous to health.
