- First you have to select the correct location to grow these special fruits. The strawberries need at least six hours of sunlight a day with plenty water for its growth as well as good soil. They need ample enough space so that they can spread easily.
- You have to now prepare the soil once you have selected a warm area with a lot of sunlight. Prepare the planting bed by digging up to a foot deep and mixing in organic matter and compost. Use a strawberry fertilizer or use any fertilizer that is safe for edible food such as vegetables.
- When you grow a tasty fruit like this you have to protect it from unwanted visitor pecking at it. They are popular amongst birds , squirrels and other insects .Human beings too cannot resist the taste of this delicious fruit. All you have to do is to net the strawberry bed to preserve it.
You can also grow strawberries in a container where you have to keep in mind the correct container, the proper amount of sunlight for it to grow . To grow strawberries indoors all you have to do is to follow the same rules and you have to add plant fertilizer after every four weeks of its growth. Make it a point to fertilize the flowering strawberry plants once every 10 days.
