9 Easy Hacks For An Well-Organised Kitchen
The kitchen is the heart of any home and it is used more frequently than any other area in your home. That's why it is essential to keep the kitchen clean and organised to make it more inviting and impressive.
Keeping the kitchen organized shouldn't feel like a mammoth task. You simply need to maintain a workable habit or disciple to keep the kitchen neat and orderly. Here are 9 easy hacks to create an orderly kitchen:

Empty and Clean Cabinets
To start with your kitchen organization journey, pull everything out of each cabinet and look through it. Get rid of expired food items, and broken things or donate stuff which can be used still. You will be surprised to know how much empty or available space you have in the kitchen. Hoarding things is one of the major reasons for a cluttered kitchen. That's why after you clean the cabinets, maintain the habit of keeping the kitchen space clean and organised!
Group Similar Items
Keep similar or alike items like plates, pans, bowls, pots, and spoons together. Arrange the everyday dishes, and glassware together for easy access. Also, seasonal cookware and serveware can be stored together, preferably in a see-through cabinet that will add to attraction and aesthetics.
Organize the Cabinets
For a clean and clutter-free kitchen, make a habit of keeping things organized. For example, cooking utensils like pans and pots should be kept near the preparation area. Salt, sugar and spices should also be kept near the stove for easy access. Keep the mugs and water pitchers near the water source if possible. Similarly, big cooking pots and a few empty containers can be kept in the uppermost cabinets.
Select Quality Containers
Get rid of random or old plastic containers as they only add to unnecessary clutter. Opt for quality plastic, glass containers to store food grains, pulses, nuts, and other food items like homemade chips, cookies, etc to keep them fresh and in good condition for a longer time.

Use the Vertical Space
Add hooks underneath the cabinets to hold mug cups, or place a stemware rack for adding wine glasses. It helps free up the cabinet space. You can also add adhesive hooks inside the cabinet doors for holding measuring cups, oven mittens, and other kitchen gadgets.
Add Lazy Susans
Lazy susans or rotating trays are useful for holding daily kitchen ingredients like oils, vinegar, spices, pickles, and more. You can add a few more lazy Susans in kitchen cabinets for medications and inside the fridge for beverages.
Add Drawer Dividers
Drawer dividers are useful for segregating small spoons, bowls, and other miscellaneous things in the kitchen. These easy-to-add things will help you create a little spot for kitchen essentials. Plus, you will be able to find things when you require them.
Sort the Papers
Storing the food mart coupons, restaurant menus, recipe cut-outs, etc in the kitchen drawers is the most obvious thing we do. You can keep it stored in a cardboard box and help locate the specific paper when you wish to. Also discard old restaurant bills, expired coupons, grocery lists, etc to reduce clutter.
Clean the Refrigerator
Make it a habit of cleaning the refrigerator on a weekly basis. Get rid of old veggies, fruits, and stale food items and use them for composting. Empty the old water from bottles (use them for watering plants) and refill it with fresh ones.
Arrange the fresh food items in a designated compartment to create a fuss-free order. It helps to locate the foot items when you want them immediately. Also, make sure to add a lid in the vessels when storing the leftover food, cakes, cut fruits, etc. It helps keep the fridge odour-free and fresh looking!
