A door is a sliding or folding barrier made of various materials like wood, metal or glass. Doors are used to open and close entrance to a house, its rooms so as to create a difference in the parts of the house.

Whether it is for light, warmth, access, separation or ventilation, door designs needs to be creative and beautifully designed. There are various types of door patterns and styles.

Here are few types of door designs which can be used at different living spaces of your house:

Carve door- This type of door design is traditional. These are door designs which looks like a showpiece. Antique designs are carved upon them and polished. Metal door- doors made with metal are known for its intricate surfaces. Copper, bronze, brass and pewter are widely used metals which helps make a hard door which is best for sections of the house which are roughly used.

Panel door- these doors are suitable for all seasons and doesn't need maintenance also. Another benefit of panel doors is that they can be easily molded, carved, painted and glided.
