5 Creative Ways To Decorate Neglected Corners In Your Home
We all have those empty corners in our homes that either remain vacant or get extra-occupied with old, unwanted objects. But, these neglected corners deserve much more than a scrap treatment and can be beautified with some thoughtful design and decor options. Wonder how? Read on to get some effective decor ideas for elevating the empty corners in your homes or chosen spaces!
Give the vacant corners in your space a much-required makeover with these decor hacks:

1. Add a Furniture
One of the easiest ways to upgrade the corner space is to add a piece of furniture. Guage the corner space and select from usual furniture pieces like side tables, consoles, armrests, chest of drawers, wicker chairs, and occasional chairs, etc. to store the essentials or relax in the corner. Furniture pieces like consoles or drawer chests can be the reliable surfaces to place a lovely table lamp, flower vases, photo frames, or any decor object of your choice!
2. Create a Reading Nook
If there is an empty corner in your living room or bedroom (preferably near the window), then transform it into a cosy reading nook. Add a lovely accent chair of your choice to relax and read your favourite book. Place either a bookshelf or add wall shelves to keep the books in a systematic manner. For illumination, hang a pendant light or keep an attractive floor lamp near the seating. Don't forget to define the reading zone with an area rug. Finally, add a hint of decor with some tabletop accents and indoor plants!

3. Define it as Green Corner
Add a fair share of nature in your home with attractive indoor plants. Identify the vacant corner in your home and transform it into a green corner! Nestle the plants in beautiful planters and seek an interesting arrangement to keep the plants in the corner. Invest in a planter rack and add small and medium-sized plants on the same. You can even hang a few plants from the ceilings or place them on wall racks or shelves. Make sure to add large-size floor plants to work it as a statement decor accessory. Elevate the green corner with some interesting tabletop or floor sculptural pieces too!
4. Craft a Meditation Territory
If you practice yoga or meditation, then a spacious enough empty corner can be crafted into a reliable and 'redefining yourself' corner! First, make sure that the corner space is kept clean and clutter-free. Next up, add a rack or shelf to place your yoga or meditation gear like a yoga mat, floor mat, books, and more. Define the 'finding yourself' space with a few easy-to-curate decor accessories like indoor plants, Buddha sculptures, and inspirational wall art!
5. Artwork Corner
Call it an accent wall, gallery wall, or art wall; make one in a chosen corner and watch it progress into a curiosity or conversation-starter zone in your home. Define the corner walls with lovely wall artworks, photo prints nestled into offbeat frames, wall sculptures, handcrafted masks, curios, vintage objects, and more. You can even add a large size artwork on the floor too!
